Job summary

PAM Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Beaumont in Las Vegas is seeking a full-time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide direct patient care under RN/LPN supervision. The role involves assisting with daily living activities and ensuring patient comfort within hospital policies and procedures.

Education includes a high school diploma or GED and state-required CNA certification; current BLS certification is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Certification as a nursing assistant (CNA) where required by state where hospital resides.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• Experience: None required. A minimum of two to three years of experience in an acute hospital, rehabilitation hospital, or skilled nursing unit is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs various patient care activities and accommodative services under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Vocational/Nurse Practitioner.
• Does not administer medications or therapies.
• Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is responsible for performing various patient care activities and accommodative services under the general supervision of a Registered or Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse. Performs patient care activities within the limits of the position. Does not administer medications or therapy. Does not assume independent responsibility for patient care. Job duties are accomplished in a manner consistent with the policies, procedures and guidelines of PAM Health. Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.

• Education and Training: High school graduate or equivalent preferred. Certification as a nursing assistant (CNA) where required by state where the hospital resides. Current BLS certification is required.
