Job summary

Signature HealthCARE, LLC in Greeneville is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant for full-time day shifts. CNAs are the heart of our facilities, delivering direct resident care under licensed staff and promoting a compassionate environment in accordance with policy.

You’ll receive a $3,500 sign-on bonus and a $5 weekend shift differential. Our benefits package supports health, wealth and well-being, with opportunities for growth and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Current, active Nursing Assistant certification from the state where the facility operates.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a nursing team under licensed staff.
• Customer service oriented and able to perform under pressure.
• Flexible, adaptable to change and able to work independently when needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct resident care under supervision of licensed personnel.
• Assist with activities of daily living and promote a compassionate environment.
• Record vital signs, weights, intake/output, and other care data.
• Assist with turning, positioning, and mobility of residents using proper body mechanics.
• Support resident rights, maintain housekeeping standards, and respond to call lights.

How you Will make a difference

Perform direct resident care duties under the supervision of licensed nursing personnel. Assist with promoting a compassionate physical and psychosocial environment for the residents in accordance with facility policies and procedures.

• Provide activities of daily living (ADLs) within the scope of practice as defined by state regulation and the resident’s plan of care.
• Change bed linen and maintain appropriate grooming supplies in resident room on a regular basis.
• Ambulate and transfer residents, utilizing appropriate assistive devices and body mechanics.
• Record resident vital signs, weights and measurements, intake and output, food consumption, and other information, as assigned.
• Routinely turn and position residents, as necessary.
• Recognize and support resident rights and choices within the care environment.
• Maintain established housekeeping standards within assigned duty areas.
• Promptly answer call lights and assist with resident needs.
• Assist in the orientation and training of other staff, as requested.
• Other special projects and duties, as assigned.

What you Need to make a Difference

• Current, active Nursing Assistant certification from state in which the facility operates.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a nursing team and under the direction of licensed nursing staff.
• Customer service oriented with the ability to work well under pressure.
• Approachable, flexible, and adaptable to change.
• Function independently, and have flexibility, personal integrity, and the ability to work effectively with stakeholders and vendors.
