We are hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - FT D/N for one of our clients in Penn Yan, NY.

Job Description
  1. Meet residents' ADL needs as outlined in the plan of care, including hygiene, grooming, dressing, incontinence/catheter care, toileting, turning/positioning, skin care, etc.
  2. Complete documentation as per protocol.
  3. Maintain resident environment and safety, including answering call lights promptly, using safety mats and low beds, monitoring equipment, and preventing falls.
  4. Meet residents' nutritional needs, including meal delivery, tray preparation, feeding, and respecting preferences.
  5. Address residents' rehabilitative needs, including ROM exercises, ambulation, transfers, and proper body alignment.
  6. Report residents' rights, refusals, and concerns to the Charge or Supervising Nurse promptly.
  7. Identify and report changes in residents' physical, emotional, or psychosocial status.
  8. Handle occupational exposure to bloodborne pathogens and potential contact with blood, body fluids, or tissues.
Qualifications
  • NYS Nursing Assistant Certification required + BLS (AHA or RQI)
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • One year of LTC experience and licensed for at least 1 year
Work Hours
  • Full-time, 37.5 hours per week, day/night rotation
  • 5x8s schedule, EOW, holidays required
