Mercyhealth in Illinois is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant to deliver patient care, respond to call lights, and maintain a clean, safe environment. The role includes stocking supplies, floating to units as needed, and participating in improvement initiatives with supervision from Registered Nurses.

You will also train new partners with unit educators and assist with device care and intake procedures while upholding high professional standards.

Qualifications

• Completion of a CNA program.
• Current CNA certificate in applicable state.
• Approved CPR or BLS certification required within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care as assigned and per routine according to standards.
• Answer call lights promptly and document care delivered.
• Maintain a clean, safe patient environment and restock supplies.
• Float to units based on patient care needs and participate in performance improvement activities.
