Job summary

Interim HealthCare Staffing is seeking Certified Nursing Assistants to support facilities in the Frankfort, Kansas area, with flexible scheduling and a variety of assignments. CNAs will work with RNs, LPNs and other staff to deliver quality patient care in nursing homes, rehab centers, hospitals and assisted living facilities.

We offer online training, CEUs, and tuition discounts, with opportunities across topeka, manhattan and lawrence markets.

Qualifications

• Active Nursing Assistant Certification in Kansas.
• CPR certification.
• Knowledge of state and federal healthcare laws and regulations.
• Compassionate nature, good communicator, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Care for the personal care and hygiene needs of patients in facilities such as nursing homes, assisted living facilities, rehabilitation centers and hospitals
• Work with a team of physicians, RNs, LPNs and aides to deliver excellent patient care
• Help with daily needs such as bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming, eating and nutritional intake
• Assist with ambulation, transfers and range of motion exercises
• Check vitals, measure intake/output, monitor blood glucose and document any changes
• Observe patient and notify supervisor of issues requiring a change in care, medication or equipment
