Job summary

Laurelwood Community Living Center is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our growing team in Laurel, Mississippi. This full-time position operates on the day shift from 3 PM to 11 PM, offering opportunities to provide direct resident care and support within our Transitional Care Unit.

As a CNA, you will perform direct care rounds, collect vital signs, and coordinate admissions and discharges while maintaining infection prevention practices.

Qualifications

• CNA license in good standing required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular direct care rounds on the assigned unit to monitor activity and assist with activities of daily living.
• Maintain positive relationships with residents.
• Notify Charge Nurse of any resident changes in condition.
• Obtain vital signs, weights, and heights as instructed by Charge Nurse.
• Complete all duties and documentation as required.
• Coordinate admissions, transfers, and discharge of residents in the Transitional Care Unit.
• Maintain a safe and clean work area.
• Ensure infection prevention and control practices are followed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
