Job summary

Aviata Health Group is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at Aviata at South Daytona, FL. This role delivers direct care to residents in a skilled nursing setting, assisting with daily living activities and ensuring dignity and independence for residents.

You'll work various shifts (FT & PT) with duties including mobility support, hygiene, meal help, and companionship, while adhering to all regulations and life care standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Completion of state-approved CNA certification course.
• Ability to read and communicate at an adequate level.
• Ability to treat seniors and their property with dignity and respect.
• Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly manner.
• Caregivers must complete our new hire orientation.

Responsibilities

• Care for residents' personal needs, safety, and comfort.
• Assist with activities of daily living including wardrobe, hygiene, and mobility.
• Aid in daily tasks like telephone, laundry, transportation, and mail.
• Light housekeeping and meal preparation.
• Medication reminders.
• Observe changes in residents' condition and report.
• Conduct rounds to monitor hazards.
• Escort residents to dining and assist with service.
• Provide companionship and conversation.
• Other duties as assigned.

About this position:

The Certified Nursing Assistant, delivers direct care to residents and patients in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations and life care standards in the health and rehabilitation center (skilled nursing home). CNAs will assists our residents with activities of daily living, personal hygiene and mobility, by prioritizing their wellbeing and ensuring they maintain their dignity and independence.

Required Qualifications
