Aviata Health Group is seeking aCertified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at Grand Oaks in Palm Coast, FL. This full-time role offers day shifts (7a-3p) with a care-focused environment and opportunities for professional growth.

The CNA will deliver direct care under life care standards, assist residents with daily activities, and support dignity and independence while maintaining safety and compassion. New CNAs are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Completion of a state-approved CNA certification course.
• Ability to read and communicate at an adequate level to essential job duties.
• Ability to treat and care for seniors with dignity and respect.
• Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly manner.
• New hire orientation must be completed.

Responsibilities

• Caring for residents' personal needs, safety, and comfort.
• Assist with activities of daily living including wardrobe, hygiene, and mobility.
• Aid in daily tasks such as telephone use, laundry, transportation, and mail delivery.
• Light housekeeping and meal preparation.
• Medication reminders.
• Observe and report changes in residents’ condition and status.
• Conduct rounds to monitor hazards or incidents.
• Assist in dining including escorting residents and serving.

About this position:

The Certified Nursing Assistant, delivers direct care to residents and patients in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations and life care standards in the health and rehabilitation center (skilled nursing home). CNAs will assists our residents with activities of daily living, personal hygiene and mobility, by prioritizing their wellbeing and ensuring they maintain their dignity and independence.

Required Qualifications

• Ability to treat and care for seniors and their property with dignity and respect.
• Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner.
• Caregivers must complete our new hire orientation.
