Elderwood Staffing Solutions (ESS) is hiring experienced and flexible Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) for our per diem pool!

ESS Requirements:

• Current NYS License/Certificate.
• Minimum of 2 years’ clinical experience for employment eligibility.
• Scheduling: 4 shifts/month, with at least 2 on weekends and 2 major holidays per year.

Work locally in Brockport at Elderwood at Lakeside or explore sites across New York State, including:

• Western New York: Elderwood at Amherst, Cheektowaga, Grand Island, Hamburg, Lancaster, Lockport, Wheatfield, Williamsville.
• Syracuse: Elderwood at Liverpool.
• Adirondack Area: Elderwood at North Creek, Ticonderoga, Uihlein Lake Placid.
• Southern Tier/PA Border: Elderwood at Hornell, Waverly.

Responsibilities

CNA Duties include:

• Monitoring and performing personal care duties.
• Reporting to the nurse on duty about residents’ symptoms, needs, and progress.
• Notifying the nurse of any changes in residents’ conditions.
• Following each resident’s Profile of Care and monitoring CNA performance.
• Responding promptly to residents’ requests.
• Assisting residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADL) as per care plans.
• Floating to at least 2 locations of your choice.

Qualifications

Required:

• Minimum age: 16 years; high school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Active registration in the NYS Nurse Aide Registry with no findings or convictions of abuse or mistreatment.
• At least 2 years of CNA experience.
• Experience in geriatric settings preferred.
• Ability to supervise and communicate effectively.
• Physical stamina and ability to perform standard tasks.
• Proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking).
