Job Summary: Gray Birch, a leading long-term care facility in Augusta, is seeking a compassionate and reliable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)/Driver to join our dedicated care team. In this dual role, you’ll help enhance the quality of life for our residents by delivering high-quality, person-centered care and providing safe, supportive transportation to medical appointments and community outings. Job Description:

Position: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)/Driver
Location: Gray Birch, Augusta
Schedule: Full-time (40 hours/week)
Shift: Days, Monday - Friday

Your Role: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)/Driver
As a CNA/Driver at Gray Birch, you’ll provide essential patient care under the supervision of an RN, while also supporting residents with transportation needs. You’ll help ensure residents’ physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being, both within the facility and when traveling off-site. This is a key role for someone who values connection, safety, and service in long-term care.

What You'll Do:

  • Responsible for coordinating and transporting patients/residents safely to and from appointments.
  • Reports abnormal findings or changes in physical, mental and emotional conditions to appropriate nursing staff.
  • Performs basic patient care within scope of practice.
  • Assists with keeping unit and patient rooms stocked, clean, and orderly.
  • Operates a motor vehicle to conduct MaineGeneral Health business.

What You Bring:

  • Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the State of Maine
  • A Valid State of Maine driver's license with an acceptable driving record
  • A caring attitude and strong communication skills
  • A team-first mindset and a passion for supporting others
