Job summary

Signature HealthCARE is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant in Cleveland, TN. You will provide respectful direct resident care under licensed staff supervision, assisting with ADLs and daily needs to promote comfort and quality of life.

Join our resident-centered team and contribute to a compassionate environment. The role supports 8-hour day shifts on-site, with a focus on teamwork, safety, and patient well-being.

Qualifications

• Current, active Nursing Assistant certification from the state in which the facility operates.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a nursing team and under licensed nursing staff.
• Customer service oriented with the ability to work well under pressure.
• Approachable, flexible, and adaptable to change.

Responsibilities

• Provide ADLs within the scope defined by state regulation and residents' care plans.
• Change bed linen and maintain grooming supplies in resident rooms.
• Ambulate and transfer residents using appropriate devices and body mechanics.
• Record vital signs, weights, intake/output, and other information as assigned.
• Turn and position residents regularly; uphold resident rights and dignity.
• Assist in orientation and training of other staff; perform duties as assigned.

How you Will make a difference

Perform direct resident care duties under the supervision of licensed nursing personnel. Assist with promoting a compassionate physical and psychosocial environment for the residents in accordance with facility policies and procedures.

• Provide activities of daily living (ADLs) within the scope of practice as defined by state regulation and the resident’s plan of care.
• Change bed linen and maintain appropriate grooming supplies in resident room on a regular basis.
• Ambulate and transfer residents, utilizing appropriate assistive devices and body mechanics.
• Record resident vital signs, weights and measurements, intake and output, food consumption, and other information, as assigned.
• Routinely turn and position residents, as necessary.
• Recognize and support resident rights and choices within the care environment.
• Maintain established housekeeping standards within assigned duty areas.
• Promptly answer call lights and assist with resident needs.
• Assist in the orientation and training of other staff, as requested.
• Other special projects and duties, as assigned.

What you Need to make a Difference

• Current, active Nursing Assistant certification from state in which the facility operates.
