Job summary

Signature HealthCARE Cleveland is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide direct resident care under licensed nursing supervision. You will support ADLs, promote a compassionate environment, and help maintain residents' comfort and safety according to facility policies.

The role requires current CNA certification, strong communication, teamwork, and a patient-centered approach. Shifts are 8 hours daily, with comprehensive benefits including medical, dental and vision coverage, 401(k),

Qualifications

• Current, active Nursing Assistant certification from state in which the facility operates.
• Executive verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a nursing team and under the direction of licensed nursing staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide activities of daily living (ADLs) within the scope of practice as defined by state regulation and the resident’s plan of care.
• Change bed linen and maintain appropriate grooming supplies in resident room on a regular basis.
• Ambulate and transfer residents, utilizing appropriate assistive devices and body mechanics.
• Record resident vital signs, weights and measurements, intake and output, food consumption, and other information, as assigned.
• Routinely turn and position residents, as necessary.
• Recognize and support resident rights and choices within the care environment.
• Maintain established housekeeping standards within assigned duty areas.
• Promptly answer call lights and assist with resident needs.
• Assist in the orientation and training of other staff, as requested.
• Other special projects and duties, as assigned.

How you Will make a difference
