A CNA’s primary responsibility is to assist patients with daily living activities, such as checking vitals, delivering meals, and assisting with mobility. The ideal candidate prioritizes resident care.

Responsibilities and Purpose

  • Assist with daily living activities, including delivering meals, providing water and nourishment.
  • Help patients with hygiene, including baths, shampoos, and showers; assist with dressing, turning, and mobility.
  • Provide additional care like ice packs, dressings, and therapeutic baths.
  • Check vital signs and record information in residents’ charts.

Required Experience and Education

  • Ability to pass a criminal background check.
  • Experience in a Skilled Nursing or Long-term Care environment is preferred.
