CERTIFIED NURSING ASSISTANT, CNA DAY SHIFT

Join our team at FullShift Staffing, LLC as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Day Shift.

Position Overview

The CNA is responsible for providing routine nursing care according to established policies and procedures, under the supervision of the Charge Nurse, RN Supervisor, Director of Nurses, or Administrator, ensuring high-quality resident care at all times.

Qualifications

• Licensed as a Certified Nursing Assistant.
• Minimum of 6 months experience as a CNA or clinical experience during certification training.
• Sincere desire to serve the ill, aged, and infirm.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
• Tactful communication skills with personnel, residents, families, and visitors.
• Willingness to work harmoniously with team members.
• Patience, tact, cheerful disposition, and enthusiasm; ability to handle residents at various maturity levels.
• Good health and emotional stability.
• Ability to work effectively with ill, disabled, elderly, emotionally upset, and sometimes hostile individuals.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties as assigned, following facility policies, nursing care procedures, and safety regulations.
• Conduct resident rounds at the start of each shift and every two hours to administer care.
• Verify resident identification before providing care or serving food.
• Report missing ID bands immediately.
• Make beds, clean bedside and overbed tables.
• Ensure water pitchers are clean, filled with fresh water, and within residents' reach.
• Other duties as directed by supervisory staff.
