Position: Part-time, Evening Shift

Schedule: 2 12-hour shifts per week

Weekends: Required

For a limited time, MaineHealth is offering sign-on bonuses for Clinical Nursing Assistants (CNA):

• $2,500 for 0-1 years of experience (full-time)
• $4,000 for 1+ years of experience (full-time)

Eligible candidates are hired (offer accepted) into a Full or Part-time CNA position. Bonus amount is prorated for Part-time hires; per diem hires are ineligible.

Current MaineHealth employee members are ineligible; former members are ineligible until more than 6 months of separation from employment.

Summary:

Under supervision of a Registered Professional Nurse and according to established policies and procedures, performs various duties to provide supervision, companionship, and support to patients. Maintains patient rooms in a clean and orderly condition. Duties may vary by area of assignment.

The Bedside Companion - Acute Care role involves supervision and close observation of selected patients for identified behaviors.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs):

1. High school diploma or GED preferred.
2. Relevant experience preferred.
3. License/Certifications: N/A
