Job summary

Richmond Center is offering a fully sponsored Certified Nursing Assistant training program for eligible candidates who will work at our skilled nursing facility in Staten Island, NY.

The CNA duties include observing residents, reporting health issues to the supervising nurse, assisting with personal hygiene, setting up meals, feeding residents, making beds, transporting residents, turning bedridden residents to prevent bedsores, and maintaining confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of the Sponsored CNA program.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must be in good standing with the State Registry.
• Ability to work as a team member.

Responsibilities

• Observing Residents in assigned units.
• Reporting any health issues to the supervising nurse.
• Taking care of a Resident’s personal hygiene, including bed bath, shaving etc.
• Setting up of meal trays, and documenting food/fluid intake.
• Feeding Residents & serving nutritional supplements.
• Making beds & keeping the Residents’ space clean and tidy.
• Transporting Residents within the Facility.
• Turning bedridden residents to prevent bedsores.
• Maintaining Confidentiality of all Resident & Facility data.
