We are seeking experienced nursing assistants to join our Central Staffing Float Pool at Waldo Hospital.
The Central Staffing Float Pool offers a unique opportunity for experienced CNAs to expand their knowledge base and sharpen their skill set. CNAs are given the opportunity to train on an array of units at Pen Bay Hospital. The assortment of floors and units assigned to will provide an opportunity to practice in various clinical areas throughout the hospital. A nurse working in the Central Staffing Float Pool must possess the ability to think quickly on their feet, with remarkable adaptability and critical thinking expertise. The ability to transition between departments including but not limited to medical-surgical, critical care, inpatient behavioral health, and emergency is a must when working in Central Staffing.
Summary: This position is per diem with variable hours.
The Certified Nursing Assistant - Acute Care Float T2 role assists in the administration of nursing care to designated patients under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Performs a variety of direct and indirect care duties. This role will float and work within various hospital inpatient settings and the Emergency Department.
