Position Summary

Under the supervision of the Nurse Supervisor, this role involves performing resident/patient care activities and services to support their personal needs, safety, and comfort. The CNA also helps create a positive physical, social, and psychological environment, following all policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Successful completion of an approved nursing assistant training and competency evaluation program
• Ability to relate positively and effectively with residents/patients, families, volunteers, and staff
• Interest in working with long-term care residents and the elderly, with a positive attitude
• Proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English
• Compliance with all health requirements as mandated by law
