Position Summary

Under the supervision of the Nurse Supervisor, this role provides resident/patient care activities and services to support their personal needs, safety, and comfort. The CNA also helps create a positive physical, social, and psychological environment following all policies and procedures.

Requirements
  • Successful completion of an approved nursing assistant training and competency evaluation program
  • Ability to relate positively and effectively with residents/patients, families, volunteers, and staff
  • Interest in and a positive attitude towards working with long-term care residents and the elderly
  • Proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English
  • Meet all health requirements as legally mandated
