Job summary

Interim HealthCare Inc. in Godwin, NC is hiring a Home Health Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide one-on-one in-home care. The role includes assisting with daily activities, lifting up to 50 lbs, monitoring patients, and following a care plan with nurses; requires NC CNA certification and CPR. Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Care for seniors and individuals at home according to the patient’s plan.
• Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, toileting, dressing, and nutrition.
• Assist with ambulation, transfers, and range of motion exercises.
• Collaborate with home health nurses and aides to ensure the care plan is followed.
• Observe patient and report changes to supervisor promptly.

• Immediate need for an aide to fill 7 days week 5p-630p, Mon-Wen 9a-12p CNA case in GODWIN.

As a Certified Nursing Assistant, here’s a big-picture view of what you’ll do:

• Care for seniors and those with an illness, injury or chronic disease in their homes
• Help with daily activities such as bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming, hygiene, nail/skin care, eating and nutritional intake
• Assist with ambulation, transfers and range of motion exercises
• Work with a team of home health nurses and aides to ensure a patient’s care plan is followed
• Observe patient and notify supervisor of issues requiring a change in care, medication or medical equipment

A few must-haves for Home Health Certified Nursing Assistants:

• High school diploma (or equivalent) and active Nursing Assistant Certification in North Carolina
• CPR certification
• Reliable transportation
• Compassionate nature, good communicator and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
