Bonus eligibility applies to candidates hired into a Full or Part-time CNA position. Bonuses are prorated for Part-time hires; per diem hires are ineligible. Current MaineHealth employees are ineligible; former employees are ineligible until more than 6 months of separation.
Unit Bio:
Stepdown unit housing cardiothoracic surgery patients, including those awaiting or recovering from surgery. Provides Med/Surg level of care in most beds and intermediate care in IMC beds. It is a "sister" unit to CTICU, working on a bridge program to enhance critical care exposure and training for R1 team members.
Position Summary:
Under supervision of Registered Nurses, performs duties such as taking vital signs, assisting with hygiene, and activities of daily living, considering the specific needs of patient populations.
