Koelsch Communities, located in Longview, WA, is looking for a skilled and resident-centered CNA to join our team at Canterbury Inn. This full-time role offers pay between $20 and $21 per hour based on experience, with multiple shifts available, welcoming new graduates.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing and dressing.
• Engage residents in conversation and socialization.
• Respond promptly to resident needs and requests for care.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for residents.
• Observe residents for any changes and report to a nurse.

Who You Are

You pride yourself in providing exceptional hospitality and personal aide. This role delivers in a safe and efficient manner the highest quality individualized assistance program to all residents.

What You’ll Do

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, transferring, and mobility.
• Engage residents in meaningful conversation, socialization, and activity while providing personal care assistance.
• Respond to all resident needs and or requests for care promptly, and provide or obtain assistance with care as necessary.
• Keep the environment safe and clean for residents.
• Observe and uphold resident rights at all times.
• Observe residents for changes in physical, emotional, mental, or behavioral condition, unusual symptoms, accidents, injuries, or unusual occurrences, and report promptly to a licensed nurse.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in Washington State.
• NARs, EAs, RAs, and/or HCAs will need additional training and testing prior to working and earning the same rate as a CNA.
• Must be able to gain CPR/First‑Aid certification as needed in accordance with company policy and applicable state rules and regulations.
• Must be drug‑free and submit to drug screening upon hire and routinely.
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check upon hire and as required by state regulations.
