Job summary

Alameda Center For Rehabilitation & Healthcare in New Jersey is seeking a compassionate CNA to provide daily resident care and support under nursing supervision. New graduates welcome; immediate openings with benefits and competitive hourly pay.

The role includes assisting with activities of daily living, meals, mobility, documentation, and teamwork to ensure a comfortable, safe environment for residents. Overtime opportunities and employee recognition are offered.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow care plans.
• Ability to work well with others as part of a care team.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily care and assistance to residents (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, mobility).
• Serve meals and assist with feeding as needed.
• Respond to call lights and resident requests promptly and respectfully.
• Monitor resident health and report changes to nursing staff.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment.
• Assist with transporting residents to activities or appointments.
• Document care provided accurately per facility protocols.
• Follow infection control and safety guidelines at all times.
• Collaborate with team to deliver resident-centered care.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in NJ
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow care plans
• Must meet health requirements, including TB test and physical
• Compassion, patience, and a strong sense of responsibility
• Ability to work effectively as part of a care team
