The Glen Retirement System in Shreveport, LA is seeking a compassionate CNA to join our long-term care team. Shifts available: 7 AM – 3 PM or 11 PM – 7 AM. This role focuses on resident-centered care and teamwork to support daily living needs.

You will assist with activities of daily living, monitor health, and maintain documentation while upholding residents' dignity and quality of life in a supportive culture with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Active Louisiana CNA certification (required)
• Compassionate and team-oriented mindset
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment

Responsabilités

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding)
• Take vital signs and report changes in condition
• Safely transfer and reposition residents
• Answer call lights and respond promptly to resident needs
• Support restorative care and daily activities
• Maintain accurate electronic documentation
• Promote residents’ dignity, rights, and quality of life
