We are looking for a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our growing team.

The right candidate will have a strong background in healthcare. The day-to-day duties of this role include:

1. Planning and preparing meals
2. Helping clients with mobility around or outside of the house
3. Providing personal hygiene assistance

Responsibilities

• Provide personal hygiene assistance for elderly patients or those recovering from surgeries, injuries, or accidents by attending to their basic needs, such as showering, bathing, dressing, and eating
• Help clients take prescribed medication and assist with ambulation
• Assist with mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks, etc.)
• Plan and prepare meals
• Assist with physical therapy exercises
• Complete client’s shopping or accompany them to do so
• Perform housekeeping duties
• Report any unusual incidents and act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
• Offer activities essential for daily living, including serving meals and other tasks as needed

Qualifications

• Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting, eager to improve and learn new skills
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with physical capability to perform job duties
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation daily
• Ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner
• Available to work different shifts, including nights and/or weekends
• Minimum of 1 year experience in healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care environment
• Willingness to enforce health and safety standards
• Supportive and compassionate attitude
• High School Diploma or equivalent; experience as a Caregiver, CNA, HHA, or completion of a CNA Program
• Supportive of providing high-quality care
• Hoyer Lift experience (specific to client)
