We Are Hiring: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - 5 Medical - 0.9 FTE - 12hr PM Shift

Schedule Details: This 0.9 FTE is 36 hours a week, Monday-Friday, every other weekend, holiday rotation.

Starting from $18.00/hr (increases with experience)

Who We Are:

We are seeking compassionate and professional nursing assistants to join the medical unit of choice in Southeastern Wisconsin. Our 53-bed unit serves a diverse patient population, including those with respiratory diseases, infectious processes, chronic condition complications, gastrointestinal disorders, renal failure, diabetes, alcohol/opiate withdrawal, and patients requiring medical evaluation before transitioning to other care environments. Our patient management includes telemetry monitoring, continuous medication infusions, wounds, ventilators, tracheostomies, and various tubes and drains. We focus on patient-centered care and teamwork, continually striving to improve:

• Active staff-led Shared Governance Council
• Patient outcome-focused teams, such as Falls and Skin Integrity
• A work culture that encourages questions like "How can we do this better?"
• An engaged interdisciplinary team

5MEDICAL is committed to maintaining a healthy workplace and values teamwork among its staff. New nurses, whether recent graduates or experienced, receive structured orientation. Our unit supports many nursing students and programs, making it an excellent environment for learning and patient care.

What You Will Do:

Support staff and patients on the unit by providing resource information and general nursing care. Complete clerical tasks related to regulatory requirements, audits, and patient processes.

What You Will Need:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - active or expired on registry
• Strong interest in customer service, ability to multitask, work independently with minimal supervision
• Passion for providing excellent patient care and demonstrating compassion, especially at the end of life
