Job summary

Celebrate Senior Living of Niles is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to support residents during the 3rd shift (11pm-7:30am), PRN. You will assist with daily activities, respond to calls, and collaborate with nursing staff and families to ensure high-quality care.

The ideal candidate holds a current IL CNA certificate, completes required state-approved training, and has a basic commitment to resident advocacy and best practices in care.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of IL state-approved CNA training and competency program.
• Current Illinois CNA certificate required; 1 year CNA experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily needs, including personal care and meals.
• Respond to resident calls promptly with a positive attitude.
• Work with other staff, residents and families to support residents.
• Report changes in condition to nursing staff and document as needed.
• Advocate for residents and contribute to team leadership.
• Be familiar with survey processes and best practices.

Job Description

• You will be supported in your work by a team that values one another and ensures your voice is heard
• Assist residents to meet their daily needs, including personal care and meal assistance
• Respond to resident calls and needs promptly with a smile and positive attitude
• Work side by side with other staff, the residents, and the loved ones of the residents
• Report changes in condition to nursing staff, ensure proper documentation as needed
• Serve as an advocate for your residents and a leader for your team
• Be knowledgeable in the survey process and best practices

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Completion of training and competency program approved by the State of Illinois

• Preferred 1 year of experience as a Certified Nurse Aide
