Job summary

Somerwoods Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Somerset, Kentucky seeks a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide direct resident care and support the nursing team. The role supports ADLs, vital signs, and safe, dignified care with a focus on resident comfort.

We offer day and night shifts, a $2,500 sign-on bonus for eligible full-time staff, and a benefits package including health insurance, 401(k), PTO, and opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant certification in Kentucky.
• Previous long-term care or skilled nursing facility experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate and dependable with a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to residents, including bathing, dressing, eating, and hygiene (ADLs).
• Support the nursing team by monitoring and reporting changes in resident conditions.
• Take and record vital signs, weights, and input/output as directed.
• Ensure residents’ comfort, safety, and dignity at all times.
• Maintain cleanliness of resident rooms and common areas.
• Communicate effectively and compassionately with residents, families, and team members.
• Participate in care planning and implementation under the direction of licensed nursing staff.

2. Shift Differentials: $1.00 for evening, $0.75 for night
