The Neville Center at Fresh Pond is a Five Star, Joint Commission, American Healthcare Association Award-winning, short-term rehab, long term, and skilled nursing care community. We are conveniently located on the Cambridge/Belmont line. We are dedicated to our residents and team members - come join us!

We are seeking highly motivated and qualified part-time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA / C.N.A.) to join our nursing department.

Sign on Bonus - $2,000 for full-time, prorated for part-time.

As the Certified Nursing Assistant (C.N.A.), some of your essential job responsibilities include:

• Provides care to participants as directed and as outlined in the plan of care.
• Assists participants with activities of daily living and/or provides all necessary care for participants who are dependent.
• Utilizes nursing assistant techniques to provide care to participants in a manner that promotes as much individual independence as possible, including walking, transfer assistance, range of motion, eating, bathing, dressing, and bed mobility.
• Applies knowledge of infection control, fire, and disaster policies as needed.
• Participates in continuing education and meets the requirements for annual in-service participation.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS for the Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA):

• A current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant in Massachusetts.
• Must be able to read, write, and understand English. Other languages are helpful.
• Basic math skills including the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
