Job summary

Blue Palms Health and Rehabilitation Center at Fletcher in Tampa, FL is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our care team. Qualifications

• Currently certified as a Florida CNA.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to residents, including assisting with ADLs such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Monitoring vital signs and reporting changes to the nursing staff.
• Assisting with medication administration and treatments as directed.
• Maintaining a clean and safe environment, adhering to infection control and safety protocols.
• Developing and maintaining positive relationships with residents, families, and colleagues.
• Participating in care conferences and contributing to the development of individualized care plans.
• Collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care is provided.
• Provide excellent customer service to residents, families, and visitors.
• Assist with resident transfers, ambulation, and positioning.
• Monitor and report changes in resident condition or behavior to the nursing staff.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and share best practices with colleagues.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of resident care and services.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Nurse Manager or designee.
