Job summary

Belmont Bay Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Woodbridge, VA, seeks a part-time Certified Nursing Assistant to join our compassionate team. The role offers daily pay, with a 3 PM–11 PM shift alternating weekends and a wage of $19–$22.50 per hour.

Our facility emphasizes dignity, respect, and excellence in every interaction. You will assist residents with daily living, monitor changes, and communicate with licensed staff to ensure safe, high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Current active CNA license in the state of employment.
• BLS/CPR certification required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented healthcare environment.
• Compassion, patience and commitment to high-quality resident care.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic resident care under supervision in a safe, compassionate manner.
• Assist residents with daily living activities (feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, linens).
• Provide supportive care to meet residents' physical and daily living needs.
• Observe residents and report changes to nursing staff promptly.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment; support care team.

Responsibilities for CNAs:

• Provide basic resident care under the direction and supervision of licensed nursing staff in a safe, compassionate, and respectful manner.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility assistance, and changing linens.
• Provide supportive care and services to ensure residents’ physical, emotional, and daily living needs are consistently met.
• Observe residents and report changes in condition, behavior, or needs to nursing staff in a timely and accurate manner.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment that promotes dignity and well-being for all residents.
• Support nursing staff and the care team in delivering high-quality, resident-centered care.

Qualifications for CNAs:

• Must hold a current, active, and unencumbered Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the state of employment.
• Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR certification required.
• Ability to work effectively with multiple residents in a fast-paced, team-oriented healthcare environment.
• Demonstrated compassion, patience, and commitment to providing high-quality resident care.
• Strong communication skills and ability to follow directions accurately and consistently.
