Position Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our care team. The CNA will provide hands‑on assistance with personal care, mobility, daily activities, and supportive services under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) in accordance with North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (NCDHHS) regulations,

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities for daily living (ADLs) including bathing grooming, dressing, toileting, and feeding.
• Provide mobility support, including safe transfers and ambulation.
• Perform vital sign monitoring and report changes in condition to supervisors.
• Assist with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and companionship as needed.
• Follow individualized care plans and document care provided.
• Maintain client dignity, safety, and privacy in all aspects of care.
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and the agency care team.

Qualifications

• Active North Carolina CNA certification in good standing.
• High School diploma or equivalent (required).
• Current CPR/First Aid certification (preferred).
• Experience in personal care, home care, or facility-based care (preferred, but new CNAs welcome).
• Ability to pass a criminal background check, drug screen, and TB test (per NC state requirements).
• Compassionate, dependable, and strong communication skills.
