Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) / Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) / Medical Assistant (MA) Job in Williamsport, PA

THIS IS A PART TIME ROLE / THIS IS AN ONGOING PART TIME ROLE.

The Certified Nurse Assistant will provide basic patient care under the supervision of the Vohra Physician and SNF Wound Care Nurse. Responsibilities include assisting with all aspects of Wound Care, providing Wound Care Education, and preparing patients for treatment.

Wound Care knowledge is helpful but not essential. Vohra Physicians will provide training and certification in Wound Care.

Qualifications:

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Medical Assistant (MA) in good standing with the State.
• Ability to relate positively with facility staff, patients/residents, and families, working cooperatively with others.
• Must meet all local health regulations and pass any required physical exams, background checks, and reference inquiries.
• Maintain regular attendance, including daily travel to partner facilities.
• Prior experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) is preferred.

Duties:

• Assist the Vohra Physician during bedside rounds as needed.
• Coordinate with SNF staff to troubleshoot and facilitate rounds.
• Ensure patients are available and prepared for physician consultations.
• Assist the SNF wound care nurse with tasks such as incontinence care, patient positioning, dressing, and skin exams.
• Document wound measurements, locations, and treatment plans as dictated during rounds.
• Support telemedicine visits, including camera use for video conferencing.
• Help obtain written consent for procedures when required.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $21.00 per hour
