A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A CERTIFIED NURSING ASSISTANT (CNA)

As a CNA, you play a vital role in our community by providing total care for residents, including activities of daily living (ADLs) such as washing, bathing, dressing, feeding, grooming, walking, transferring, skin care, toileting, oral care, and catheter care. You perform care as outlined in the resident's plan of care and CNA assignment card. You also visit with residents, reposition as needed, and record vital signs and other health indicators.

You observe and report any changes in condition, attitude, or behavior, maintaining confidentiality and complying with HIPAA and facility policies. Your warm, friendly demeanor helps you build relationships with residents, families, visitors, and colleagues. Your dedication makes a difference in residents' lives and makes you a great fit for this role.

Qualifications for a CNA

• Completed a state-approved Nurse Aide Training Program
• Current Kansas certification/registration
• Current CPR certification
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA
• Desire to work with the elderly

Work Schedule

This full-time position involves 12-hour shifts on a 6-6 rotation schedule, with part-time day shifts also available.
