Job summary

Arbor Ridge Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Wayne, NJ is seeking a NJ Licensed Certified Nursing Assistant for a per diem night shift. The role requires an NJ CNA license and offers hourly pay between $20.50 and $27.00 with daily pay options.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current, active, and unencumbered Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in New Jersey.
• Valid BLS/CPR certification is required.

• Demonstrated compassion, patience, and commitment to high-quality resident care.
• Strong communication skills and ability to follow directions accurately.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic resident care under the direction and supervision of licensed nursing staff.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADL) including feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, and linen changes.
• Observe residents and report changes to nursing staff promptly.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment that preserves dignity.

Responsibilities for CNAs:

• Provide basic resident care under the direction and supervision of licensed nursing staff in a safe, compassionate, and respectful manner.

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility assistance, and changing linens.

• Provide supportive care and services to ensure residents’ physical, emotional, and daily living needs are consistently met.

• Observe residents and report changes in condition, behavior, or needs to nursing staff in a timely and accurate manner.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment that promotes dignity and well‑being for all residents.

• Support nursing staff and the care team in delivering high‑quality, resident‑centered care.

Qualifications for CNAs:

• Must hold a current, active, and unencumbered Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the state of New Jersey.

• Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR certification required.

• Ability to work effectively with multiple residents in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented healthcare environment.

• Demonstrated compassion, patience, and commitment to providing high‑quality resident care.
