Job summary

Northgate Care Center is seeking Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join a friendly, supportive team. Shifts include 1st, 2nd, and 3rd with full-time, part-time and PRN options, and responsibilities include supporting residents with daily living activities.

Qualified candidates will hold an Iowa CNA certificate or completion from an Iowa-accredited program, possess a caring demeanor, and be able to observe changes in condition, maintain safety, and uphold our high standards of care.

Qualifications

• Must have Iowa CNA certification or completion from an Iowa-accredited CNA program.
• Frontline CNA duties include activities of daily living, observing condition changes, and maintaining a safe environment.
• Commitment to high standards of resident care and education.

Responsibilities

• Perform Activities of Daily Living for residents.
• Observe changes in residents' condition and respond appropriately.
• Maintain a safe environment and uphold quality of care standards.

Education

Iowa CNA certification or certificate of completion from a State of Iowa Accredited CNA program

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have:

As a minimum, an unencumbered State of Iowa Certified Nursing Assistant, CNA certificate, or certificate of completion from a State of Iowa Accredited Certified Nursing Assistant, Prior Certified Nursing Assistant, CNA experience is preferable.

As a Certified Nursing Assistant, CNA. you are the front line of the Clinical Department. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at Northgate Care Center by performing Activities of Daily Living, observing changes in condition, ensuring a safe environment, and maintaining education. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they are comfortable and safe.
