Job summary

Pillar of Cedar Valley Nursing and Rehabilitation in Waterloo, IA is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to support residents with daily living activities and enjoy meaningful interactions with our tight-knit team.

Shifts are available 1st, 2nd, and 3rd with competitive pay, a $2,000 sign-on bonus (not for PRN), shift differentials, and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401K, vacation, PTO and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Current Certified Nursing Assistant license from the State of Iowa.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents to meet their daily needs, including personal care and meal assistance.
• Respond to resident calls and needs promptly with a smile and positive attitude.
• Report changes in condition to nursing staff, ensure proper documentation as needed.
• Serve as an advocate for your residents and a leader for your team.
• Be knowledgeable in the survey process and best practices.
• Travel with resident to doctor appointments.
