Visiting Angels Waco is a leading non-medical home care agency providing companionship, safety supervision and personal care to help adults live with dignity in their homes. We are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with weekday and weekend availability to join our team and provide care to clients in Waco and surrounding areas.

Travel to clients is required and a valid driver’s license is necessary. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Must have over 1 year of hands-on caregiving experience with the elderly.
• Ability to take direction, follow rules and be proactive.
• Good time management skills.
• Must be willing to work weekends.
• Reliable transportation to drive to/from clients.

Responsibilities

• Hygiene and grooming assistance (bathing, dressing, incontinence care, etc.).
• Medication reminders.

Certified Nursing Assistant - CNA

Visiting Angels Waco is a leading non-medical, private duty home care agency providing companionship, safety supervision and personal care to help adults continue to live safely with dignity and independently in their homes.

We are looking for a Certified Nursing Assistant - CNA who has availability on weekdays AND weekends. Certified Nursing Assistant - CNA shifts can be any length of time between 1 hour to 12 hours- day OR night! We coordinate with your availability and our clients' needs to build your perfect schedule! Our goal is to schedule you for a MINIMUM of 20 hours/week, which means you can pick up AS MANY clients as you'd like!!! Our clients reside in Waco and surrounding areas (Woodway, Hewitt, China Spring, West, Clifton, Valley Mills, Gatesville, Hillsboro, and MORE) therefore, a Certified Nursing Assistant - CNA MUST have reliable transportation of your own that you will drive to and from each client and be willing to travel outside of Waco. Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply!

Certified Nursing Assistant - CNA job duties include but are not limited to:

• Hygiene and grooming assistance (bathing, dressing, incontinence care, etc.)
• Medication reminders
• Monitoring/safety supervision

• Ambulation/mobility assistance, including lifting 50lbs and above
• Supportive companionship
• Respond quickly in case of an emergency

Certified Nursing Assistant - CNA Requirements:

• High integrity and strong ethics
• MUST have over 1 year of hands-on caregiving experience with the elderly
• MUST be able to work weekends
• Be over 18 years old
• Successful completion of a Criminal History check

• Valid Driver’s License/clean driving record/proof of insurance
