Job summary

Walter Reed Post Acute is hiring CNAs to provide compassionate, hands-on care for residents. Full-time and part-time options are available with day and evening shifts, plus a shift differential and daily pay.

An option to add $3/hr by waiving benefits applies to full-time staff. The CNA will assist with activities of daily living, observe changes, and support the care team in a respectful, patient-centered environment built on Passion, Respect, and Excellence.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current, active CNA license in the state of employment.
• Valid BLS/CPR certification required.
• Ability to work effectively with multiple residents in a fast-paced, team-oriented healthcare environment.
• Demonstrated compassion, patience, and commitment to high-quality resident care.
• Strong communication skills and ability to follow directions accurately and consistently.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic resident care under the direction and supervision of licensed nursing staff in a safe, compassionate, and respectful manner.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living including feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, and changing linens.
• Provide supportive care to ensure residents’ physical, emotional, and daily living needs are met.
• Observe residents and report changes in condition to nursing staff promptly.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment promoting dignity and well-being.
• Support nursing staff and the care team in delivering high-quality, resident-centered care.
