Job summary

Nyack Ridge Rehabilitation & Nursing Center is seeking compassionate CNAs to join our nursing team. We offer Day and Evening shifts (7:00 AM–3:00 PM and 3:00 PM–11:00 PM) with competitive pay of $18.00–$22.00/hr.

Our CNAs play a vital role in delivering quality, respectful, and compassionate resident care. Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs, mobility, meals, vital signs, and timely reporting to the nurse.

Qualifications

• Current New York State CNA certification required.
• Experience in skilled nursing or healthcare setting preferred; new grads welcome.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate, respectful approach to resident care.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADLs: bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, hygiene.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, positioning, and ambulation.
• Help with meals and feeding as needed.
• Take and record vital signs as directed by nursing staff.
• Observe changes and report to the nurse promptly.
• Respond to resident requests in a courteous manner.
• Provide emotional support, companionship, dignity, and respect.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment for residents.
• Follow infection-control and facility policies.
• Communicate with nurses, supervisors, residents, families, and others.
• Complete required documentation accurately.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the nursing team.

Available Shifts:

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene.
• Assist residents with mobility, transfers, positioning, and ambulation.
• Help residents with meals and food as needed.
• Take and record vital signs and other resident information as directed by nursing staff.
• Observe residents and promptly report changes in condition, behavior, or needs to the nurse.
• Answer calls and respond to resident requests in a timely and courteous manner.
• Provide residents with emotional support, companionship, dignity, and respect.
• Maintain a clean, comfortable, and safe environment for residents.
• Follow infection-control, safety, and facility policies and procedures.
• Communicate effectively with nurses, supervisors, residents, families, and other members of the healthcare team.
• Accurately complete required documentation.
• Perform other resident-care duties as assigned by the nursing team.

Qualifications

• Current New York State Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required.
• Previous experience in a skilled nursing, rehabilitation, long-term care, assisted living, or healthcare setting is preferred.
• New CNA graduates are encouraged to apply.
