Job summary

The Hamptons Center for Rehabilitation & Nursing in Southampton, NY is seeking compassionate CNAs to join our dedicated nursing team. This union-associated position offers all shifts and a supportive work environment where your contributions are valued.

You will provide hands-on care to residents to maintain comfort, dignity, independence, and quality of life, while collaborating with nurses and staff to ensure optimal resident care.

Qualifications

• Active New York State CNA certification required.
• Long-term care or rehabilitation experience preferred, but not required.
• Compassionate, reliable, and professional attitude.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to resident dignity, safety, and quality care.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility, meals, and other activities of daily living.
• Provide compassionate, respectful, and resident-centered care.
• Observe and report changes in residents’ physical, emotional, or mental condition.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment.
• Accurately document care and resident observations.
• Follow infection control, safety, and facility policies.
• Communicate effectively with nurses, residents, families, and team members.
• Support residents’ participation in social and recreational activities.
• Work collaboratively with the nursing team to provide exceptional resident care.
