Job summary

Slate Valley Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing in Granville, NY is seeking a Certified Nurse Assistant to join our care team. You will assist residents with daily living activities, monitor health needs, and document care. Immediate hire with shifts available, daily pay option, and a $5,000 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work as a team member.
• Successful completion of a CNA program.
• Current CNA State Certification and good standing with State Registry.

Responsibilities

• Observe residents and report health issues to the supervising nurse.
• Assist with personal hygiene and bed baths for residents.
• Set up meal trays and document food and fluid intake.
• Feed residents and provide nutritional supplements.
• Make beds and keep spaces clean and tidy.
• Transport residents within the facility and turn bedridden residents to prevent bedsores.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident and facility data.

DUTIES:

• Observing Residents
• Reporting any health issues to the supervising nurse
• Taking care of a Resident’s personal hygiene, including bed bath, shaving, etc.
• Setting up of meal trays, and documenting food/fluid intake
• Feeding Residents & serving nutritional supplements
• Making beds & keeping the Residents’ space clean and tidy
• Transporting Residents within the Facility
• Turning bedridden residents to prevent bedsores
• Maintaining Confidentiality of all Resident & Facility data

REQUIREMENTS:
