Essex Center for Rehabilitation and Healthcare in Elizabethtown, NY is hiring a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) to provide direct resident care in a 100-bed facility. Base pay ranges from $18.00 to $19.00 per hour with a $0.75 shift differential for Evening and Night Shifts and an extra $.75 for our no-frills rate.

A $5,000 sign-on bonus is offered, plus Daily Pay options for faster access to earnings. We offer two-tiered insurance plans, tuition reimbursement, flexible schedules

Qualifications

• Must be able to work as a team member.
• Successful completion of a CNA program.
• Current CNA State Certification.
• Must be in good standing with State Registry.

Responsibilities

• Observing Residents
• Reporting any health issues to the supervising nurse
• Taking care of a Resident’s personal hygiene, including bed bath, shaving, etc.
• Setting up of meal trays, and documenting food/fluid intake
• Feeding Residents & serving nutritional supplements
• Making beds & keeping the Residents’ space clean and tidy
• Transporting Residents within the Facility
• Turning bedridden residents to prevent bedsores
• Maintaining Confidentiality of all Resident & Facility data
