Essex Center for Rehabilitation and Healthcare in Elizabethtown, NY is hiring a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) to join our 100-bed facility. Base pay ranges from $18.00 to $19.00 per hour with evening and night shift differentials and an additional no-frills rate supplement.

A $5,000 sign-on bonus is offered, with Daily Pay available through a trusted provider. We provide tuition reimbursement, flexible schedules for Full-Time, Part-Time, or Per-Diem, career advancement opportunities, education

Qualifications

• Successful completion of a CNA program.
• Current CNA State Certification.
• Must be in good standing with State Registry.

Responsibilities

• Observe Residents and report health issues to supervising nurse.
• Assist with personal hygiene (bed baths, shaving, etc.).
• Set up meal trays and document food and fluid intake.
• Provide feeding and nutritional support to Residents.
• Make beds and keep Residents' spaces clean and tidy.
• Transport Residents within the Facility.
• Turn bedridden Residents to prevent bedsores.
• Maintain confidentiality of all Resident and Facility data.

Base rate is $18.00-$19.00 with an additional $0.75 shift differental for Evening and Night Shifts and an extra $.75 for our no-frills rate.

DUTIES:

• Observing Residents
• Reporting any health issues to the supervising nurse
• Taking care of a Resident’s personal hygiene, including bed bath, shaving, etc.
• Setting up of meal trays, and documenting food/fluid intake
• Feeding Residents & serving nutritional supplements
• Making beds & keeping the Residents’ space clean and tidy
• Transporting Residents within the Facility
• Turning bedridden residents to prevent bedsores
• Maintaining Confidentiality of all Resident & Facility data

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be able to work as a team member
• Successful completion of a CNA program
• Current CNA State Certification
• Must be in good standing with State Registry
