NaphCare is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join the Wyoming Department of Corrections – Medium Correctional Facility in Torrington, WY. Full Time, Part Time, and PRN roles are available with a newly enhanced pay rate for CNAs and a $2.00/hour incentive, plus mileage reimbursement for those who qualify.
As a Correctional CNA, you will work under a registered nurse to care for residents, perform vital signs, assist with ADLs, and support administrative tasks.

As a Correctional CNA, you will work under the supervision of a registered nurse alongside correctional officers and other medical professionals to provide care to the individuals in residence. Working within a controlled environment, where security is top priority and the days are never dull, you will have various duties to keep you engaged including assisting physicians and other healthcare professionals with examinations, taking patient histories, vital signs, supporting administrative tasks, etc. This is a unique position where you can make a difference to this diverse population of patients with complex medical needs.
As a CNA, you will play a critical role in our continued mission to provide quality healthcare that protects the rights, dignity, and health of our unique patient population. Duties and responsibilities may include and not be limited to:

Must have the ability to stand for long periods, lift and move patients (up to 50 pounds), bend, squat, reach, push, pull, walk significant distances, and perform physically demanding tasks like CPR, all while maintaining good balance and endurance throughout a shift.
