Visiting Angels Abilene, TX is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide compassionate in-home care for seniors in the Big Country area. You will assist with daily living activities, mobility support, and personal care, delivering reliable companionship and safety.

This role offers a range of shifts (Part Time, 8/10/12 hours, PRN) and opportunities for skill development in dementia or Alzheimer’s care, with benefits and ongoing training available through Visiting Angels.

Qualifications

Responsabilités

• Help clients with prescribed medications as needed.

Certified Nursing Assistant - CNA Responsibilities

• Help clients take prescribed medication
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks, etc.)
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene
• Help clients with routine exercises
• Plan and prepare meals with assistance from the clients (when they are able)
• Do the client’s shopping or accompany them when they shop
• Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can’t complete on their own
• Be a pleasant and supportive companion
• Report any unusual incidents
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
