A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A CERTIFIED NURSING ASSISTANT (CNA)

As a CNA, you play a vital role in our community by providing total care to residents, including assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as washing, bathing, dressing, feeding, grooming, walking, transferring, skin care, toileting, oral care, and catheter care. You follow the resident’s care plan and document vital signs and other observations.

You observe and report any changes in condition, attitude, or behavior, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA regulations. Your warm demeanor helps build trust and rapport with residents, their families, visitors, and colleagues. Your contribution makes a meaningful difference in residents' lives.

Qualifications for a CNA

• Completed a state-approved Nurse Aide Training Program
• Current Wisconsin certification/registration
• Current CPR certification
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA
• Desire to work with the elderly

Experience in a geriatric facility is preferred but not required. We seek trustworthy, respectful, dependable, professional, and compassionate individuals who enjoy caring for seniors and can establish good rapport and communicate effectively.

Work Schedule

This position is available for both full-time and part-time shifts, including 8- or 12-hour days, evenings, overnights, and weekends, with every other weekend required.
