Pay Range

Base pay range: $25.00/hr - $25.00/hr

Position Description

A nursing assistant responsible for providing routine nursing care in accordance with established policies and procedures, directed by the Charge Nurse, RN Supervisor, Director of Nurses, or Administrator to ensure high-quality resident care.

Qualifications

• Licensed as a certified nursing assistant.
• At least 6 months experience as a CNA or clinical experience during certification training.
• Sincere desire to serve the ill, aged, and infirm.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Tactful communication with personnel, residents, family, visitors, and the public.
• Willingness to work harmoniously with others.
• Patience, tact, cheerful disposition, enthusiasm, and ability to handle residents at various maturity levels.
• Good health and emotional stability.
• Ability to work with ill, disabled, elderly, emotionally upset, and sometimes hostile individuals.

General Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform duties per policies, procedures, and safety rules.
• Make resident rounds at shift start and every two hours to provide nursing care.
• Verify resident identity before care or feeding.
• Report missing ID bands immediately.
• Make beds, clean bedside and overbed tables.
• Ensure water pitchers are clean, filled, and accessible.
• Other duties as directed by supervisors.
