Job summary

Crestview Healthcare and Rehabilitation in Shelbyville, KY seeks compassionate CNAs to join our close-knit team. You will attend to residents’ daily needs—bathing, feeding, dressing, and ambulating—and support nursing staff with essential tasks in a warm, person-centered environment.

We offer 2nd and 3rd shifts with full-time opportunities, a supportive culture, and growth potential within a smaller facility dedicated to meaningful resident relationships and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Must possess and maintain a current state CNA certification.
• At least one year of CNA experience in a long-term care setting is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Attend to the individual needs of residents, including bathing, feeding, dressing, and ambulating.
• Record patient vital signs, assist with lifting, moving, and transporting residents using proper body mechanics.
• Recognize and report changes in resident conditions to the nurse management.
• Communicate and interact effectively with residents, visitors, families, peers, and supervisors.
• Report abnormal changes or patterns to the nursing staff.
• Demonstrate the ability to assist the nurse with various duties as directed.

CNAs are responsible for the following:

• Attend to the individual needs of residents, including bathing, feeding, dressing, and ambulating.
• Responsible for taking and recording patient vital signs, lifting, moving, and transporting residents, using proper body mechanics.
• Recognizing and reporting changes in resident conditions to the nurse management. Asking appropriate questions to clarify situations.
• Communicate and interact effectively and tactfully with the residents, visitors, families, peers, and supervisors.
• Reporting abnormal changes or patterns to the nursing staff.
• Demonstrating the ability to assist the nurse with various duties as directed.

CNA Requirements:

• At least one year of experience as a CNA in a long-term care setting is highly preferred.
• Must possess and maintain a current state certification as a CNA
