Job summary

Recover-Care is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our dedicated team in Salina, KS. You will provide compassionate daily care, assist residents with ADLs, and support the nursing team to enhance residents' quality of life.

Responsibilities include responding to call lights, assisting with therapy prep, documenting care, and maintaining infection control standards. A CNA certificate is required and English communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is required.
• English reading, writing and speaking proficiency is required.
• Ability to work scheduled shifts and provide compassionate care.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as eating, dressing, transferring, walking, bathing and hygiene.
• Respond promptly to resident call lights and therapy session needs.
• Document and chart care provided for each resident.
• Follow infection control procedures and safety practices.
• Protect residents’ rights and adhere to policies and standards.
• Support nursing staff under supervision of Charge Nurse, RN Supervisor, and Director of Nursing.

To qualify for the position, you will need:

1. Certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

As a certified nursing assistant (CNA) you are responsible for providing exceptional nursing care in accordance with our policies and procedures. You will have all of the training, support, tools & equipment you need to provide the highest degree of quality care. Our team of nursing care professionals & mentors will be by your side every day, including a Charge Nurse, RN Supervisor, Director of Nursing and Administrator.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
